When legislation authorizing assisted suicide comes before the Illinois legislature, an alert will be posted here.
To determine who your state senator and state representative are, click here. Follow the instructions on the screen and type in your address at the bottom of the screen. Click “Find Address.” A dialog box will pop up, noting that your address was found. Click “Close” on the dialog box, and the map will pinpoint your address. Click “Confirm Address,” and the screen will change to a list of your federal and state lawmakers. You want the individuals listed under Senate District and Representative District. Their emails are listed. Send an email message to each of the email addresses, telling lawmakers to oppose assisted suicide.
